I'm here to listen
John Green
With bullying, peer pressure, social media, trying to figure out one's identity, and family differences, being a child or teen can feel like an impossible balancing act. This can look like acting out, isolation, phone/video addiction, irritability, and substance use.
Adulting can also be challenging. Learning how to balance new freedoms, navigating romantic relationships, identifying school and career goals, balancing work and social life, and family differences can lead one to feel overwhelmed. This can look like impulsive shopping, isolation, difficulty sleeping, phone addiction, irritability and substance use.
My name is Carmen Tibbetts and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida. I have worked at crisis hotlines and an inpatient crisis hospital and have worked with individuals with various mental health concerns. Whether you have a mood disorder, depression, anxiety, trauma, or difficulty connecting with yourself or others, I'm here to help. I help individuals learn how to effectively communicate their needs, practice self love, and challenge limiting and negative beliefs. I also help people to heal from traumatic experiences that have shaped how they view the world and themselves so that they can live a life with peace, gratitude, and hope.
